After 24 years with the company, Evelyne Piegay will leave her position as European sales director, according to lingerie and swimwear company Wacoal Europe. Edwin Van den Bergh will take over as sales director in February 2025.
Van den Bergh, who has been with the company for 22 years, has a great track record of leadership and dedication to customer connections, particularly within the northern European regions, according to a statement from Wacoal.
“At Wacoal, our dedication starts with understanding our customers,” stated Laurel Nash, worldwide sales director. “From the very first fitting, we want to empower women to embrace their beauty. Our merchandise honours the distinct self-assurance and personality of every woman,” she added.
“Under Edwin’s leadership, we look forward to advancing this goal, promoting greater confidence, and enhancing the experience for women throughout Europe. Edwin’s demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with individuals and his extensive knowledge of our clientele make him the ideal alternative for Evelyne. We are thrilled to have him lead us going forward because of his passion for our goal and commitment to delivering exceptional service, which will expand Wacoal’s reach throughout Europe.”
