SINGAPORE – From Nov 6 to 10, Trafalgar Tours – a brand under travel company The Travel Corporation (TTC) – is holding its first travel fair at the level one atrium of Plaza Singapura. Admission is free.
Decked out as a Christmas market complete with a Christmas tree, fairy lights and game stalls, the event will run between 10.30am and 9pm and showcase the company’s European tours for 2025, among other travel deals.
Ms Mae Cheah, managing director of TTC tour brands in Asia, says the Christmas market-themed event gives visitors a taste of European holiday traditions.
She adds: “It aligns with the holiday season, a time when Singaporeans are already in a festive mood, making it the perfect opportunity to highlight travel offers and create an emotional connection with Europe’s winter magic.”
The company is offering deals on some of its best-selling tour packages, such as its eight-day Christmas market tour of Austria, Germany and Switzerland, which costs $2,768 online; and a 14-day Scandinavian tour of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, which costs $4,815 online. Further discounts will be available at the fair. Both tours do not include airfare.
At two game stalls, visitors who either subscribe to Trafalgar’s newsletter or book a tour with Trafalgar will win guaranteed prizes. These include a flight ticket to Europe on Turkish Airlines each for two winners and a seven-day Italy tour.
Travellers can also check out the round-trip airfares, starting at $999, to destinations such as Amsterdam, Paris and Rome. Participating airlines include Turkish Airlines, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines and Emirates.
