Ness Czech, a part of Ness Digital Engineering, has announced it is accelerating the establishment of an international innovation centre focused on providing data and cloud services in Central and Eastern Europe.
The initiative follows Ness’ recent acquisition of Intricity, an enterprise that specializes in data strategy consulting,
Intricity has been a longstanding key partner of Snowflake and Databricks, which supports the company’s relationships with AWS, Azure, and Confluent.
“As specialists in ‘Data & Analytics’ operating not only in the Czech Republic but throughout Central and Eastern Europe, we are witnessing strong demand for cloud-based data solutions. Companies are generating more and more data, which they need to manage and leverage in their business, while keeping a close eye on the costs associated with data management,” said Martin Silvička, CEO of Ness Czech, noting that the challenging task is particularly the transformation of data solutions to the cloud and their subsequent cost-effective operation.
The innovation centre will focus not only on cloud-based data solutions, but also on offering customers easy and efficient migration between different platforms.
Said Ranjit Tinaikar, CEO of Ness Digital Engineering, “Ness has always had a strong position in data engineering, and the acquisition of Intricity strengthens our capabilities in data strategy and consulting. We have expertise in complex data project solutions, which today, are at the core of any digital transformation.”
