With increasing pressure on household budgets and the energy price cap increasing earlier this month it is no wonder Brits are looking for ways to save money.

And now experts at William Russell have analysed Government data on the average cost of food, fuel, and rent to determine which countries have the most expensive price of living.
The UK is the fifth most expensive country in the world in terms of cost of living with the average monthly rent of one one-bedroom apartment in the city centre being a staggering £1,039.20.
