The call for contributions is open for next year’s ITS European Congress 2025 in Seville, Spain, organised by Ertico – ITS Europe.
The theme is Clean, Resilient and Connected Mobility, and the event – which runs from 2-4 June – is supported by the European Commission.
Proposals must be submitted online, in English, no later than 10 January 2025: they must be original material and “address technology issues or the institutional, business, societal or economic aspects of ITS”, Ertico says.
This year’s key topics include sustainability, digital transformation and inclusive mobility solutions.
Papers could perhaps align with key EU initiatives such as the European Green Deal, the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy and the Fit for 55 package, or might address different issues.
Technical Papers should present current and original work, incorporating the latest advances in the field. This should encompass innovative solutions improving existing practices, providing valuable insights to others, as well as outcomes from practical work, trials, demonstrations and pilot studies.
Research Papers should introduce novel concepts or address existing limitations. These papers should demonstrate a high level of scholarship, innovation and analytical exploration of emerging issues or solutions – not just a re-examination of previously studied subjects.
