SOFIA (Bulgaria) – The Classification Groups 9-15 game between Slovakia and Bulgaria at the FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket 2024, Division B will not take place on Saturday, July 13 following the decision of Slovakia to forfeit the game as not to put the health of the players at risk.
Bulgaria will be awarded a 20-0 victory as a consequence of the forfeit.
A number of players and delegation members from teams at the event have been showing symptoms of a gastrointestinal infection.
