The 2024 European Championship is nearly here and several Manchester United players will be competing for glory in Germany.
The tournament kicks off on 14 June, with hosts Germany facing Scotland, and the final is scheduled to take place on 14 July.
Despite a poor season that could see Man Utd without European football next term, several Red Devils stars are set to feature at the tournament in Germany.

Man Utd finished the Premier League campaign in a lowly eighth and crashed out of the Champions League in the group stage in embarrassing fashion. Players like Marcus Rashford failed to impress in 2023/24, while others, like Kobbie Mainoo, burst onto the scene.

Several nations are yet to announce their squad for Euro 2024, while most countries have opted to release an initial preliminary squad before naming their final 26-man squad for the tournament.

Only six Man Utd players have currently been included in preliminary squads for Euro 2024 so far.
Scott McTominay is sure to be included in Scotland’s final squad for the tournament as he is one of his country’s talismanic figures despite rarely starting for his club.
Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have been called up by Gareth Southgate for England, but the Three Lions boss admitted that Shaw is a ‘long shot’ to make the final list due to his persistent injury problems in 2023/24.
Captain Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot will feature alongside Man Utd legend Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal in Germany.
Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund are expected to be called up by Denmark, while goalkeeper Altay Bayindir will likely make Turkey’s squad despite playing all of one game since joining Man Utd last summer.
A number of Man Utd players have been snubbed by their national team’s head coaches and will not compete at Euro 2024.
The most prominent eligible player who will miss the tournament is Marcus Rashford. The forward scored 30 goals in 2022/23 but only mustered eight in 2023/24 and was subsequently dropped by England boss Southgate. Mason Mount has also been left out after an injury-hit first season at Old Trafford.
Tyrell Malacia (Netherlands) and out-of-contract stars Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial (both France) will not feature at Euro 2024 after struggling with fitness issues for most of the season.
The likes of Casemiro (Brazil) and Alejandro Garnacho (Argentina) will not be involved due to the fact their nation is not eligible to compete at the European Championship.
