Europe’s cheapest city break destinations for summer
A new survey from the expert team at Post Office Travel Money has unveiled the cheapest city break destinations for British tourists in 2024.
While many of the cities in the top 10 are Eastern European hotspots, tourists might be surprised to see a couple of the continent’s biggest destinations in the top ranking.
The team looked at the average cost of a cup of coffee, a bottle of beer, a glass of wine and evening meal and hotel accommodation to find the cheapest spots.
The cheapest destination cost under £250 for a weekend for two making it a fantastic bargain choice for deal-hunting Britons.
