Storm Boris leaves a trail of destruction as it batters central and eastern Europe with the death toll climbing to nine and several people still missing.
One person was killed and seven were reported missing in the Czech Republic after flooding provoked by Storm Boris, Czech police said on Monday.
One person drowned in a stream close to Bruntal in the northeast, while authorities “recorded seven people missing”, police chief Martin Vondrasek told a radio station.
