THE world’s longest bus journey takes passengers on a European road trip of a lifetime that lasts nearly two months and travels through 22 countries.
Motoring across almost the entire continent lucky tourists get an opportunity to see a plethora of beautiful cities and even the northern lights and Santa Claus’ home – but tickets cost £20,000.
The amazing trip starts in the heart of Turkeyin Istanbul and drives passengers through a thrilling European tour finishing in London.
Taking an almighty 56 days to fully complete the journey a whopping 22 different countries will be passed through with several activities planned along the way.
Aptly named “Bus to London” the luxury motor comes with everything a busy tourist would ever need while on board.
Kitted out with comfortable, reclining seats that can be adjusted to the persons preferences.
Plenty of legroom is also on offer as well as plenty of room for storing your stuff with each traveller allowed two large suitcases.
Then much like long haul plane flights each passenger is given an “entertainment system” with headphone slots, Bluetooth and USB ports.
And within your ticket you also get accommodation for stopover stays, breakfast every morning and 30 lunches and dinners throughout the trip.
Visas are covered by the travel organisers as are the tours when off the bus.
Although the cost of such a grandiose journey will set you back a fair amount.
As tickets cost a jaw dropping £19,000 per person plus taxes.
The 56 days isn’t full of nonstop travelling however as the route follows a rough pattern one day on the road followed by 24-hours to explore.
The shortest day of travel will see just 95km travelled but the longest is a whopping 675 kilometers.
On average around 440km will be covered each day with the final total being a massive 12,265km.
Indian expedition company Adventures Overland designed the record shattering route and absolutely eclipsed the previous longest bus ride.

The first trip happened back in August 2023 and Adventures Overland are now looking at making the route even longer if possible.
The route is inspired by the famous European Hippie Trail from the 1950s to the 1970s and offers an entire tour of the best bits of the continent.
Tourists catch the bus from the starting point in Istanbul – famously dubbed the gateway to Europe.
The first portion of the trip takes those onboard through the several Balkan nations into Eastern Europe.
Stopping at Sofia in Bulgaria, Belgrade in Serbia and Zagreb in Croatia.
After opportunities to explore these whimsical cities passengers hop back onto the bus and travel to some of the continents best capitals in Budapest, Bratislava, Prague and Warsaw.
Before venturing to a reasonably unexplored section of Europe in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Then the bus gets on a ferry to cross the Gulf of Finland as the journey takes a chilly turn.
Santa Claus Village and Nordkapp are next up as passengers take on the most northern part of continental Europe accessible by buses.
Then stops at Tromso, Bergen and Oslo give the lucky travellers a chance to explore one of Europe’s prettiest countries in Norway.
The Atlantic Ocean can be seen for miles and even the magnificent northern lights could be captured up above.
The rest of Scandinavia can then be seen with Copenhagen and Stockholm in Sweden coming up fast.
On the final week of the trip Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France are meandered through before the final stop in bustling London.
