“The outside areas are cute and all clean bathrooms etc. I actually slept SO well here but also was tired after the Adele concert. It was ok but still feel one night was enough here hahaha.”
The video has over 1000 comments mixed with users saying they would stay there, others saying they could and some sharing their experiences of staying there.
One user said: “Somehow I would feel safer in this than an 8 person hostel!”
The Tent in Munich is a youth summer hostel which offers various types of accommodation, including a foam mat in a tent, beds in a tent, huts, and caravans from around £8.
The “ecologically minded” hostel is funded by the city of Munich which is what makes it cheap for young travellers.
It offers a range of services such as a canteen, beer garden, guest kitchen, free hot showers, bike rental, lockers, and a laundry room.
Guests can also enjoy sports, board games and musical instruments, including a piano in the hostel’s piano bar and every Wednesday, there is a free city tour from 9:30 am.
Because the hostel is only open during the summer time, bookings for summer 2025 do not open until next Feburary.
