Turkish basketball teams are set to play 10 games this week, showcasing their talents in various European competitions.
In the 2024-2025 season, Turkish basketball will be represented by 10 men’s teams and five women’s teams in various European cups.
Fenerbahce Beko and Anadolu Efes compete in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, while Besiktas Fibabanka, Turk Telekom, and Bahcesehir Koleji participate in the BKT EuroCup.
Galatasaray, Karsiyaka, Aliaga Petkimspor, and Manisa Basket are involved in the Champions League, and TOFAS play FIBA Europe Cup games.
Fenerbahce Opet and CBK Mersin represent Türkiye in the EuroLeague Women, while the Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring, Besiktas, and YTR Gayrimenkul Bodrum Basketball teams compete in the FIBA Europe Cup.
There will be no group-stage matches in the men’s Champions League or FIBA Europe Cup this week.
In the BKT EuroCup, Turk Telekom was originally scheduled to play against the Israeli team Hapoel Bank in Group B in Ankara.
However, the match will now be held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, following a decision by the EuroLeague Management.
