Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York (TRSNYC) has approved a $224.1m (€204.9m) commitment to InfraVia’s latest European infrastructure fund.
The pension fund disclosed in a meeting document that it has placed the capital into InfraVia European Fund VI.
InfraVia Capital is currently fundraising for its sixth fund, Fund VI. According to SEC filing, as of mid-July, the fund had secured $545m in commitments.
The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association said it is also considering a commitment to Fund VI.
The target size for Fund VI remains undisclosed. InfraVia’s previous European infrastructure fund, Fund V, closed in March 2022 at its hard cap of €5bn.
TRSNYC also disclosed it has made a $258m commitment to KKR Global Infrastructure Investors V.
In August, IPE Real Asset reported that KKR’s latest global infrastructure fund was halfway towards its target of a $20bn capital raise.
