Juventus have confirmed that France midfielder Adrien Rabiot will leave the club as a free agent this summer following the end of his contract.
The 29-year-old former Paris St-German player spent five seasons at the Turin-based club, winning two Italian Cups and one Italian Super Cup.
“Adrien Rabiot and Juventus’ paths have parted,” said the club in a statement on their official website, external.
Rabiot made 212 appearances for the club, the same number as fellow Frenchman Zinedine Zidane. Michel Platini (224) and David Trezeguet (320) are the only French players to have played more games for Juventus.
“He will be remembered as a player who always gave his all for the shirt, and one who carried himself with undeniable charisma,” continued the club statement.
“On the pitch, Adrien was a vital player to Juventus, particularly without the ball. His work rate could not be called into question, and he made huge improvements to his offensive game in recent seasons.
