Aggregator TPConnects has signed a partnership with corporate travel distributor Kyte to access content from major European low-cost airlines.
The deal between the two technology firms will give TPConnects access to fares and ancillaries from leading budget carriers such as easyJet and Ryanair through Kyte’s API.
Earlier this year, Kyte signed a distribution deal with Ryanair and it also announced a partnership last month with Spotnana to give the corporate travel platform access to content from low-cost carriers.
Alice Ferrari, CEO of Kyte, said: “Our API will provide TPConnects with access to a variety of low-cost airlines, offering greater choice and value to their clients.
“This partnership highlights our commitment to making low-cost airline content easily accessible alongside NDC solutions, especially in the corporate travel market.”
TPConnects aggregates airline content from multiple sources, including GDSs, low-cost carriers and the growing number of NDC-enabled booking channels. The company gives agencies access to these airfares by integrating its API.
Eric Dumas, CEO of TPConnects Technologies, said the Kyte partnership would give its customers “the best available content at any time and build our content independence”.
“We look forward to working actively with Kyte’s team and to further engage into additional partnerships to facilitate the overall LCC distribution and access to key industry stakeholders, from corporate and leisure businesses,” added Dumas.
Flight Centre Travel Group, which owns TMC brands FCM and Corporate Traveller, took a majority stake in Dubai-based TPConnects two years ago and is a major user of the TPConnects’ Iris Aggregator Solution.
