Tough Mudder has announced a partnership with Foodspring, the European fitness nutrition brand. The three-year deal will see Foodspring become Tough Mudder’s official nutrition partner across the UK, France and Germany between 2024-27.
The brand, which produces protein powders, bars, snacks and supplements, will be sampling products on-course at all events while supporting its marketing with a central European activation and product giveaways.
By providing on-course and post-event sampling, Foodspring will aim to support the recovery of Tough Mudder obstacle course race (OCR) participants to aid their performance and improve their overall event experience. Foodspring products available to the Tough Mudder community include: Clear Whey Lemonade, Protein Bars and post-race smoothies made from Foodspring’s Whey and Vegan protein powders.
Tough Mudder expects up to 100,000 participants at its events once again this year across a variety of ages and disciplines. With ten events in the UK, two in Germany and the first ever race held in France, Foodspring will be able to sample its range of products in all countries.
Matthew Brooke, Senior Vice President at Tough Mudder said “We are super excited to welcome Foodspring into the Tough Mudder family. We know how great the products are and our Tough Mudder community will no doubt agree.
“We look forward to having them fuel participants and help us all recover from the intense challenges and obstacles. As ever, we’ll come together with our partners to share our combined ethos of camaraderie and togetherness that make our events such memorable experiences.”
Christian Bubenheim, CEO of Foodspring said “Foodspring is delighted to be coming onboard as the official nutrition partner for Tough Mudder across UK, Germany & France. Bringing together the cleanliness of Foodspring with the muddiest event series was the perfect pairing.
“We look forwards to meeting the Tough Mudder community & providing them with our highest quality and great tasting nutrition products throughout the event series.”
