Bucharest in Romania is known for being home to Europe’s biggest spa – and it’s a great city to visit for a weekend away while also being affordable.

Bucharest is the capital of Romania making it a popular tourist destination but those planning to visit the area often try to visit Transylvania too which is just over five hours away by car.

In the capital, there are a range of museums to see or you can stroll around the impressive parks the city has to offer.
