Ryanair has the week announced that it has added over 4,000 extra seats between the UK and Germany ahead of the highly anticipated UEFA European Football Championship taking place this summer.
Ryanair’s extra flights to Cologne, Dortmund and Frankfurt from both London Stansted and Manchester airports are now available to book on ryanair.com.
Ryanair’s Head of Comms, Jade Kirwan said: “We’ve had record bookings from football fans travelling to Germany for what is set to be a spectacular European Championship this summer.”
“To support this overwhelming demand, we have added over 4,000 extra seats from London and Manchester to Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt so that England fans can catch all the big games and soak in that unreplaceable match day atmosphere.”
“Seats are expected to sell out fast so fans should book their low-fare Ryanair flights now to avoid missing out.”
The UEFA European Football Championship, also known as Euro 2024, is happening in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. Three German cities – Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt – are gearing up to host some of the most electrifying matches of the tournament.
Cologne, known for its stunning cathedral and lively Old Town. It will see five matches played at the RheinEnergieStadion, including a clash between England and Slovenia.
Dortmund, famous for its passionate football fans and the imposing BVB Stadion Dortmund. It will host Italy’s opening match and a thrilling group stage decider.
Frankfurt, a financial center with a historic center, will stage matches including Belgium versus Slovakia. It will see a knockout round match under the lights of the Waldstadion.
With their unique atmosphere and world-class stadiums, Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt promise an unforgettable Euro 2024 experience for fans and players alike.
