Patrick Diemer, a former CEO of AirPlus and co-founder of business travel organisation BT4Europe, has joined the board of sustainable travel specialist eco.mio.

“His profound industry knowledge and ongoing support have been invaluable. We are truly honoured to have him join us as a board member as we scale our mission in sustainable business travel.”
Diemer added: “Eco.mio offers a much-needed solution for business travel to become greener. Their solution empowers the traveller to take an educated decision in support of sustainability.”
The company provides a browser plug-in that integrates with online booking tools to encourage travellers to make sustainable choices. Eco.mio won the Achievement in Sustainability Innovation category at the first Business Travel Sustainability Awards Europe held by the BTN Group in 2023.
