Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group plans to add two landmark European properties to its luxury portfolio early next year: the Hotel Lutetia in Paris and the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam.
The Hotel Lutetia, which was originally founded in 1910, is set to be rebranded as the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris. The 184-room property, located on Paris’s Left Bank in the Saint-Germain-des-Pres district, most recently underwent a restoration in 2018.

The Hotel Lutetia is also home to a 7,500-square-foot Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre and food and beverage venues Brasserie Lutetia and Bar Josephine.
The Conservatorium Hotel, which is situated near Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter, will be rebranded as Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium in January 2026, following a comprehensive renovation. (The hotel will remain in operation throughout the revamp.)
Designed in the late-19th century, the 129-room Conservatorium Hotel houses both the Asian-inspired Taiko Restaurant and all-day dining venue Brasserie & Lounge. It also has its own Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre.
Both hotels are currently part of the Set Collection, a brand representation company for independent hotels.
The Conservatorium Hotel will mark Mandarin Oriental’s first flag in Amsterdam, while the Hotel Lutetia will be the brand’s second outpost in Paris, joining the Mandarin Oriental, Paris.
Mandarin Oriental currently has a global footprint of 41 hotels.
