Starting in spring 2025, KLM is set to expand its European network by adding flights to three new cities: Ljubljana, Slovenia; Exeter, England; and Biarritz, France. These routes will begin with services to Ljubljana and Exeter on March 30, followed by Biarritz on April 19, enhancing KLM’s offerings for both business and leisure travelers across Europe.

KLM plans to operate daily flights to Ljubljana and Exeter year-round. During the summer, Biarritz will also see daily flights, while in the winter, the frequency will reduce to twice weekly. This expansion is facilitated by strategic adjustments in KLM’s existing European routes.

For the Amsterdam to Ljubljana route, flights will commence on March 30, 2025, using an Embraer 190 aircraft. Flight KL1989 will depart Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 10:15 AM, arriving in Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport at 12:05 PM. The return flight, KL1990, leaves Ljubljana at 12:35 PM and reaches Amsterdam at 2:25 PM. Ljubljana, known for its vibrant business opportunities and rich cultural tapestry, serves as an attractive destination for diverse travelers.

Similarly, KLM will reconnect Amsterdam and Exeter starting March 30, 2025. This daily service will be operated by an Embraer 175, enhancing connectivity to Southwest England. Flight KL1101 will leave Amsterdam at 4:15 PM and land in Exeter at 4:50 PM. The return flight, KL1102, departs Exeter at 5:20 PM, arriving back in Amsterdam at 7:50 PM. Exeter offers access to the scenic regions of Devon and Cornwall and is close to significant cities like Plymouth and Bristol.

Lastly, seasonal flights to Biarritz will start on April 19, 2025, utilizing an Embraer 190. This route will offer daily flights during the summer and bi-weekly services in the off-peak season. Flights will leave Amsterdam at 2:20 PM and arrive in Biarritz at 4:20 PM, with the return flight departing Biarritz at 4:50 PM and landing in Amsterdam at 6:50 PM. Biarritz, situated in the picturesque Bay of Biscay, is renowned for its surfing and offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and local culture in the French Basque region.
