BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — IU landed a commitment Bosnian forward Harun Zrno on Friday.
Zrno is a 6-7 wing. He has averaged 18.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 12 games for BC Slavija, a team in the championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has also shot 46.7% from three-point range.
In the 2023-24 season, he played in the Estonian-Latvian Basketball League.
Zrno is 20 years old and is IU’s second commitment in the 2025 class, alongside forward Trent Sisley.
Zrno chose IU over Creighton, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The Hoosiers are 14-6 and 5-4 in conference play so far in the 2024-25 season. They return to the court on Sunday to play Maryland at Assembly Hall. Tipoff is scheduled for noon.
