Panathinaikos boss Ergin Ataman has become a specialist in reaching the championship game, reaching four of the last five, and he’s looking to lift his third EuroLeague trophy as head coach. “We are here to win the title,” Ataman boldly exclaimed.
Real Madrid tactician Chus Mateo, meanwhile, is the most recent coach to get their hands on European basketball’s biggest prize, having led Los Blancos all the way last season. “We will fight until the end to get the victory,” Mateo said. Should Real go back-to-back, it will become just the third club to do so this century.
