An insurtech company, which provides business insurance solutions, Jove, has launched an innovative Pan-European Business Liability Insurance, a flexible and accessible solution designed to meet the unique needs of small businesses across Europe.
This new offering provides comprehensive coverage for small businesses with fewer than 20 employees, spanning a wide range of sectors including creative industries, media, engineering, consultancy, and more. Available in 30 EU countries, the product ensures global client coverage including the USA and Canada, and eliminates the geographic and travel restrictions that are common in traditional policies.
Jove’s Pan-European Business Liability Insurance offers a monthly subscription model, allowing small businesses to benefit from affordable policies without the burden of long-term commitments. The coverage extends to businesses’ international client portfolios, insuring businesses and professionals residing in 30 countries across Europe, providing peace of mind for those working across borders. A pausing capability, due to be introduced within the next three-months, will allow businesses to reduce costs during periods of inactivity, further enhancing flexibility.
Alongside this new insurance product, Jove has introduced a cutting-edge broker portal to streamline the policy purchase process, making it faster and easier than ever for brokers to serve their clients.
The broker portal revolutionises the insurance experience by enabling brokers to obtain policies instantly. This development significantly reduces the time required for policy issuance, which typically takes several weeks, and simplifies operations for intermediaries while improving efficiency for all parties.
This launch builds on Jove’s momentum following its successful £3.6 million seed funding round announced last year. The investment, led by Explorer Investments and supported by UK and European VCs, has enabled Jove to accelerate product innovation and expand its offerings.
This launch is set to transform the European insurance market by addressing critical gaps in the industry and removing traditional hurdles such as delays in processing and limited coverage.
Amanda Cai, CEO of Jove, commented: “Jove’s mission is to empower businesses specifically, with innovative and flexible insurance solutions. Our Pan-European Business Liability Insurance and broker portal redefine accessibility, making it easier for businesses to operate globally and for brokers to serve clients efficiently.
“This product launch positions Jove as a challenger in the European insurance sector, leveraging cutting-edge technology and a customer-first approach to outpace competitors”.
