French Juniors team crowned as European Champions in Kronenberg
The first team result of the European Championship in Kronenberg, The Netherlands, is in! It was the French team who proved to be the best team.
The French team was the convincing winner with a total of only 9.06 penalty points at the end of their ride. Spain and Great Britain ended on an ex aequo with 14.91 penalty points, having to go head-to-head in a jump-off. The Spanish team eventually took home the silver medal followed by the Brits.
Chef d’Equipe of France, Olivier Bost opted for Capucine Prudhomme, Jack Conlon Gateau, Ewen China and Nohlan Vallat.
Ireland had to settle for fourth place just in the nick of time. The German team concluded on five. The hosting nation finished on seventh, just behind Belgium who was in sixth.
Spain’s Olivia Alvarez García leads the way in individual ranking
In the individual ranking, Olivia Alvarez García is in first place with a score of 0,24. Hungarian rider Rodrigo Szuhai takes second place with 0,88 being his score, and goes in front of France’s gold medallist Ewen China who concluded on 1,13 after the second day of competing.
Great Britain has Olivia Sponer on four followed by the hosting nation’s Thijmen Vos who is currently on five.
