We’re diving deep into the best of the fixtures not involving British and Irish teams here in the Europa League and Europa Conference League.
Football tipster, Paddy Murphy, has gotten his value magnifying glass out and delved into the markets for a five-fold Acca for us.
And, with with it being a five-fold Acca, Paddy’s footy acca betting offer kicks in, so we’ll get our stake back if just one leg lets us down.
*All games kickoff at 8pm
Ferencvaros v Malmo – Ferencvaros to win
Midtjylland v Eintracht Frankfurt – Both team to score & over 2.5 goals
Real Sociedad v Ajax – Over 2.5 goals
Slavia Prague v Fenerbahce – Both teams to score, yes
Fiorentina v Paphos FC – Fiorentina to win to nil
Europa League match at the Groupama Aréna, Budapest
TV: Discovery+, 8pm
So far in the Europa League, Ferencvaros has won two and lost two, while Malmo has won just one and lost its other three games.
The hosts are in strong form. They’re currently enjoying a run of eight games without a loss, five wins, three draws, and one home defeat. They have won two, drawn two, and lost two over their last five, scoring nine goals.
Malmo are in terrible shape on their travels, winning just one of their last eight games played away from home. We have to side with the Hungarians here.
Europa League match at the MCH Arena, Herning
TV: TNT Sports, 8pm
Midtjylland recorded their first win in five over the weekend, a run where they’d lost all of their previous four games. However, their home record is quite good. They’ve won four of their last five there but just one of those games was on the European stage.
Eintracht have won six and drawn one over their last seven games, scoring a total of 16 goals. Away from home, they’ve won three, drawn one, and lost one, scoring 12 goals.
With the hosts scoring eight over their last five and the Germans conceding eight over their last five away, we should see at least three goals scored here.
Europa League match at the Reale Arena, Donostia-San Sebastián
TV: TNT Sports, 8pm
Real Sociedad have won three and lost two of late, while on home soil have won two, drawn one, and lost two, scoring six and conceding five.
Ajax are in good shape. They’re on a run of 16 games without a loss now, and away from home, they’ve gone eight games without losing. Of their last five on the road, they’ve won three and drawn two, scoring 12 and conceding six.
You’d be tempted to back Ajax here, but the hosts have beaten Barcelona and held Atletico Madrid, so backing seeing at least three goals makes better sense.
Europa League match at the Fortuna Arena, Prague
TV: TNT Sports, 8pm
Slavia Prague will give Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce a stern test here. The Czech side have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five. On home soil are unbeaten over their 12 home games this season with 11 wins and one draw.
The Turkish side are also in good form, though. They’ve won four and lost one over their last five, and, on their recent travels, have won two, drawn two, and lost one, scoring 13 and conceding 10.
Both teams will surely be scoring here.
Europa Conference League match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, Florence
TV: TNT Sports, 8pm
Fiorentina are also enjoying a great run of form. La Viola have lost just one of their last 12 games in all competitions, winning 10 and drawing one.
On home soil, they’ve won five and drawn three and have won all five of their most recent fixtures, scoring 14 goals and scoring at least two goals per game.
Paphos have lost just one of their last 10, so they won’t be a pushover here. Away from home, they’ve won four and lost one, scoring nine and conceding four.
The gulf in class should be evident here, though, so we’re going to back the hosts to win and see at least two goals.
