French healthcare SaaS Faks has raised €6M in its latest round to centralise and streamline digital services for pharmacies.
The round was led by Speedinvest, with support from existing investors Connect Ventures, Seedcamp, and FJ Labs.
Faks is a platform designed to streamline interactions between pharmacies, laboratories, and pharmacy groups. It offers a centralised application that enables users to manage various aspects of their professional relationships in a transparent and secure manner. Features include a mobile application that allows pharmacy owners and staff to handle supplier relations efficiently. This includes managing complaints, processing returns of expired medications, and coordinating commercial operations, all within a single interface; a web and mobile application that assists laboratories in overseeing customer relations, enhancing client satisfaction, and improving commercial efficiency.
Faks emphasises neutrality, modularity, and security in its services, ensuring that data is handled confidentially and in compliance with European regulations.
The platform has been adopted by over 17,000 pharmacies, 500 laboratories, and 130 pharmacy groups, reflecting its widespread acceptance in the pharmaceutical industry.
The startup will double its R&D team, growing from 7 to 15 employees, and expand internationally, with a focus on Spain and Italy.
“This funding marks a key milestone for Faks. After bringing together major industry players on one platform that simplifies their interactions, we are now investing heavily in our technology to help them save even more time and focus on what matters most: their patients.” said Corentin Geoffray, CEO & Co-founder of Faks.
“The growing diversification of pharmacies’ activities, on top of their most important role of advising patients, has left little time to manage back-office operations from order to stock management. We see a huge potential in centralising all their supplier interactions in a single platform and automating tedious – yet strategic – tasks with AI.
“We have been impressed by Faks’ ability to stay focused on pharmacies’ critical needs, with the vision of reducing their operational burden and making everyone in the ecosystem (pharmacies, associations, laboratories) work more closely together.” added Wissam Nasreddine, Principal at Speedinvest.
