According to the Tech.eu database, European tech companies raised €1.9 billion over the course of August 2024 in some 203 deals.
This figure represents a decrease of around 60 per cent compared to the previous month (in July European tech companies collected €5 billion). Compared to the same month a year ago, the decrease is even higher (around 70 per cent), since in August 2023, European tech companies collected €6.3 billion.
