FTL Airlines, a French regional cargo airline, has become the newest addition to the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) community, a non-profit trade association.
FTL Airlines, operates out of Vatry Airport in France with an A330-200 E-class freighter. Its entry into the ERA will allow it to access the association’s wide network of airlines and air travel corporations.
The ERA represents over 50 airlines and upwards of 150 European air transport companies, and works lobbying on behalf of its members to European regulatory bodies on policy matters in the continental aviation industry.
FTL Airlines claims that joining ERA will help to advance its plan to grow its regional footprint and expand its fleet to up to five aircrafts in the near future.
Montserrat Barriga, director general of ERA, said: “We are delighted to welcome FTL Airlines to ERA’s growing community. The carrier’s long-haul freighter operations from Vatry highlight its adaptability and resilience and we look forward to supporting its growth.”
