It follows the Europa League final on Wednesday night.
Upwards of 45,000 fans arrived in Dublin this week for the Europa League final.
A major Garda operation was organised with over 1,800 staff deployed as a security measure.
UEFA, in a statement last night, extended its “heartfelt thanks” to the clubs involved and to the FAI, local authorities and match staff.
The organisation said they helped make the fans feel safe and welcome.
UEFA also confirmed the final went off without an incident – and overall it was a resounding success.
It’s thought the final was worth about €15 Million to the local economy.
