Middle East carrier Etihad Airways has announced 10 new routes as part of an expansion of the international network from its Abu Dhabi base.
Etihad’s new routes include Algiers, Atlanta, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Krabi, Medan, Phnom Penh, Taipei and Tunis, which will be launched between July and November 2025.
The first new route to launch will be Abu Dhabi-Atlanta, which will operate four times per week from 2 July, followed by the daily route from Abu Dhabi to Taipei on 8 September.
Early October will see the launch of Etihad’s routes to Medan in Indonesia (three weekly), Phnom Penh (up to five weekly) and Krabi in Thailand (daily).
The final routes from Abu Dhabi to Tunis (three weekly), Chiang Mai (four weekly), Hanoi (daily), Hong Kong (five weekly) and Algiers (four weekly) will take off in early November.
The 10 destinations are in addition to Etihad’s previously announced new flights to Prague and Warsaw in 2025. Frequencies to several European cities will also be increased next year.
Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s CEO, said: “This expansion reflects our commitment to listening to our valued guests. We’ve carefully chosen cities that embody the experiences, adventures and opportunities that matter to them.
“Launching 10 new destinations in a single day underscores our unwavering commitment to growing our airline with a fantastic route network and world-class, customer-focused service.”
