CoComelon outfit Moonbug Entertainment is pushing deeper into Europe by striking a deal with Allente in the Nordics.
The Candle Media-owned kids content maker and seller will launch its channel in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland next month.
The partnership with the Nordic pay-TV operator means that Moonbug’s channel is now in 83 countries across EMEA and APAC, and the company has plans to push further into northern and western Europe.
The 24/7 Moonbug channel hosts a wealth of its content including CoComelon, Blippi, Little Angel, Gecko’s Garage, Morphle and others. As part of the Allente deal, the Channel will be supported on VoD.
Dilek Doyran, who runs Moonbug’s channel partneships in EMEA, said the deal is a “significant milestone.”
“We are looking forward to bringing the joy of our stories and characters to more kids and supporting parents and carers in their day-to-day parenting journey with shows that inspire little ones to laugh, learn and grow,” he added.
