The 2025 European Rental Awards will include a new category on the ‘Best Safety Initiative by a Rental Company’.
The award will assess an occupational health and safety initiative or programme implemented by a rental company in late 2023 and/or 2024.
The awards, jointly organised by the European Rental Association (ERA) and International Rental News (IRN), will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on June 4 during the ERA Convention.
In total, eight awards will be up for grabs next year, including:
Large Rental Company of the Year (revenues more than €15 million)
Small Rental Company of the Year (revenues less than €15 million)
Best Safety initiative by a Rental Company
Rental Product of the Year
Rental Person of the Year
Lifetime Achievement Award

The new safety award will consider issues including work place accidents/incidents, mental health projects or training in relation to the safe use of its equipment by its staff and customers. Judges will be looking for detail on the outcomes of initiatives, with data where available.
The judges for the awards have also been chosen, with representatives from rental companies and associations in Sweden, Germany, France and the UK. Click here to see the judges.
The judges’ meeting will be on 25 March, 2025, with the deadline for entries set for 28 February.
