Etihad Airways is boosting capacity on its route between Abu Dhabi and Milan by adding a third daily flight later this year.
The airline said it would introduce the extra daily service from 1 November, with the route being served by a mixture of Boeing 777-300 and new Airbus A321LR aircraft.
Etihad’s additional service will depart Abu Dhabi at 9.10am with scheduled arrival at Milan Malpensa at 1.15pm. The return flight departs Malpensa at 3.10pm and arrives back in Abu Dhabi at 12.15am.
Arik De, chief revenue and commercial officer at Etihad Airways, said: “With our morning, afternoon and evening departures from Abu Dhabi and value fares, our triple-daily Milan flights serve up perfect timings for guests travelling in both directions.”
Etihad has already announced plans to expand its long-haul route network in 2025, as well as increasing frequencies to key European cities this summer.
