Tyrell Malacia will reportedly leave Manchester United this month following his return from a long-term knee injury. According to Voetbal International, the full-back was informed by the club on Friday that he’s free to leave, with a loan move looking the most likely option.
Since returning from injury in November, Tyrell Malacia has featured just five times for Manchester United. Head coach Ruben Amorim has no plans to give the former Feyenoord defender regular game time, and therefore he’s now on the market for a move away.
Several European clubs have been informed about the 25-year-old’s availability, with a number of clubs planning to hold talks with his representatives. Currently, Manchester United have been operating with a three-back, De Ligt, Maguire and Martínez at centre-back, while Dalot and Mazraoui have occupied the full-back positions. Tyrell Malacia has been kept on the bench, resulting in this opportunity for him to leave Old Trafford.
