Moovit, the company behind one of the world’s leading commuter apps, has teamed up with Distribusion Technologies to make intercity transport planning and ticketing easier than ever for travellers across Europe.

This partnership brings together Distribusion’s extensive network of European transport operators, including Deutsche Bahn, Trenitalia, and National Express, and the efficient Moovit app, creating a unified platform for planning, booking, and riding long-distance trips across 40 European countries.

Moovit users can now enjoy seamless planning and ticketing for intercity journeys, including cross-border trips, directly within the app. From long-distance trains to buses and ferries, travellers can access real-time information, and book tickets with just a few taps on their iOS, Android, or web platforms.

Tomer Asheroff, Moovit’s Vice President of Business Development, highlighted the significance of this collaboration:

This marks Moovit’s first integration of mobile ticketing for intercity and cross-border journeys in Europe.
