Global Street Art, Europe’s leading hand-painted advertising company, has announced the acquisition of Mediafield’s mural and projection mapping division, marking a significant milestone in its international expansion.
This acquisition comes at a pivotal time for Global Street Art, as the company also celebrates the launch of new offices in France, Spain and Lithuania. Building on years of international work, this expansion will enhance Global Street Art’s ability to provide seamless services across Europe, improving client access to local real estate, knowledge, and talent, and solidifying the company’s position as a truly global leader in Hand-Painted Advertising, commissioned public art and community projects.
The newly acquired Mediafield division will now operate as Global Street Art Belgium. By leveraging Global Street Art’s in-house design studio and artistic expertise, as well as their extensive international network, the division will provide clients and brands with new innovative solutions and creative possibilities. Both companies share strong synergy, driven by a shared mission to transform urban spaces and deliver innovative visual experiences for clients, creating a natural partnership.
Lee Bofkin, CEO and co-founder of Global Street Art, shared, “This is a fantastic opportunity to expand our reach into Belgium and bring new resources and world-class artistic talent to Mediafield’s clients. We’re thrilled to welcome the Mediafield team into Global Street Art, and we look forward to incredible projects together. Our mission is to live in painted cities, and this acquisition helps us move one step closer to making that a reality.”
A Global Solution for Advertisers
Integrating Mediafield into Global Street Art will open new creative avenues for advertisers, including 3D builds, UV painting, and AR, on an international scale.
The expanded reach and expertise across multiple markets will also create new growth opportunities for the team while maintaining local knowledge and client relationships. Global Street Art’s in-house world-class artists will also bolster Mediafield’s offering, with their hyper-realistic skill set and expertise.
The newly established Global Street Art Belgium team will remain the same point of contact for existing Mediafield clients, ensuring continuity in service while leveraging new international resources. Mediafield will continue to operate its other services independently.
Mathieu France, CEO of Mediafield, shared, “This merger is an exciting opportunity to expand our creative horizons. It’s essential for our teams and the brands that trust us. With Global Street Art’s offices across Europe, we can now offer a unified solution for mural painting and projection mapping, tailored to the needs of advertisers across various markets, including Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. The future looks more colourful than ever! We thank our clients for their continued support and look forward to our shared success with Global Street Art.”
