Travel management company Reed & Mackay is to offer Amadeus’ Cytric Easy corporate booking platform for its clients based in continental Europe.
The UK-based TMC, which is owned by Navan Group (formerly known as TripActions), said the agreement with Amadeus would allow European clients to use Cytric Easy, which is being integrated within Reed & Mackay’s central booking platform. It is not being made available in the UK “at this point”.
Reed & Mackay said the move was part of its expansion across Europe – the TMC now has offices in Spain, France, Sweden, Germany and Italy. The company has also launched its proprietary booking platform in France, Spain and Sweden.
Amadeus has already partnered with Microsoft to integrate Cytric within the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, including the Microsoft Teams communications app.
Julie Oliver, Reed & Mackay’s CEO Europe, said: “Cytric Easy’s integration with Microsoft Teams, coupled with our own proprietary technology, transforms the way our clients handle travel logistics by facilitating booking and communication options within a popular and pre-established software channel.
“It sets us up for future demand as we continue to grow and innovate our technology globally. We are like-minded brands in respect to our dedication to innovation and desire to create seamless travel and events experiences for our clients.”
Luis Angel Fernández Jove, global head of Cytric sales partners at Amadeus, added: “Together, we are empowering travellers and corporate travel managers with the tools they need to make booking travel and claiming expenses faster, easier, and more efficient than ever before.
“We are delighted to support Reed & Mackay’s forward trajectory in the European market.”
Reed & Mackay, as part of the Navan Group, is currently ranked as the fourth largest TMC in Europe, according to BTN Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024 report.
