The European football season will be the busiest ever, and it’s shaping up to be a spectacular domestic campaign.
Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid was undoubtedly the most high-profile transfer of the summer. After months of speculation, Mbappe was finally unveiled as a Madrid player in front of over 80,000 fans at the famous Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Meanwhile, in Italy, Como 1907 has been promoted to Serie A for the first time since going bankrupt in 2016. In an attempt to remain in the league this season, they have signed several famous faces, including Raphael Varane, Andrea Belotti, and Pepe Reina.
Managerial change has been a central theme of the summer. Bayern Munich is betting on manager Vincent Kompany to win them back the Bundesliga trophy this year. However, Kompany’s appointment raised eyebrows after his team Burnley was relegated out of the Premier League last season.
