Travellers can experience stunning sunsets and crystal clear waters on the cheap as one budget airline is offering flights for just six Euros.
You can experience this on one of the four Balearic Islands. Located just off the eastern Spanish coast, the Balearic Islands are an archipelago of islands belonging to Spain and one of the most popular getaway destinations for many Brits and travellers.
It comprises four different islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera.
Air Nostrum, Iberia’s franchise airline for regional flights, has launched an irresistible price promotion and deal for inter-Balearic flights, which links the three airports of the Balearic islands.
Since July 21, the airline has offered cheap flights from €6.27 for its residents as long as round-trip tickets are purchased. The dates to be able to fly are from September 19, 2024, to March 2025.
Residents who buy a ticket included in the promotion departing from Ibiza and Mahón to Mallorca will be able to purchase them from €6.27, while for those who are departing from Son Sant Joan airport to the other two airports of the archipelago, prices will start at €6.53.
This bargain means residents can get a round-trip ticket for a total of €12.80.
For those looking for a direct flight between Ibiza and Mahón, they can catch a flight for under £10.
Here’s the catch. Sadly if you are not a resident of one of the Balearic islands, you will have to pay slightly more for your flights.
But the good news is, it is only a slight increase, with the most affordable prices starting at €17.52 for individuals departing from Ibiza and Menorca to Mallorca and purchasing round-trip tickets.
For flights departing from Mallorca to the two other island airports, prices will start at €17.78. In total, the round trip for these connections will have a starting price of €35.30.
Based on prices in the last seven days, a one-way flight from Mallorca typically starts at £41 and would be £42 for a round trip, depending on the period specified — meaning this is a great deal.
In comparison to the prices for Balearic residents, connections between Ibiza and Mahón for non-residents will be offered at an initial price of €34.52 in this promotion, meaning a round trip would cost you just under £70.
